Shanghai Hailiang Copper Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. The company was established in July 2005 with a registered capital of 79.73 million US dollars. It is constructed in two phases and covers a total area of 230,000 square meters. The first phase invested 420 million yuan, with a construction area of 85,000 square meters and a plant area of 70,000 square meters. The second phase of the project has a total investment of 270 million yuan and a construction area of 39,000 square meters. The leading products are copper and copper alloy pipes, which are mainly used in air conditioning and refrigeration, seawater desalination, hardware machinery, equipment manufacturing, electronic information and other industries. In line with the principle of high starting point, high technology and high level, the company has introduced production and testing equipment from Japan, Australia, Germany, Switzerland and other countries, coupled with some domestic advanced equipment, so that the overall technical equipment has reached the domestic leading level. The company currently employs 820 staffs. The current construction scale is a copper alloy pipe production line with an annual output of 20,000 tons and an annual production line of 120,000 tons of high-efficiency, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly copper coil pipes. The total planned production capacity of the company will reach 200,000 tons by 2025.
